History:
Nightstar was born as a normal person, and as she grew up, she had moved around quite a bit, her father a famous blacksmith that made only the best weapons. As a newborn, her mother ended up dying due to a plague that was sweeping the countryside, but luckily only the mother caught it. The father really didn't know how to raise a daughter, so he only would try to raise her as best as he knew. Soon after Nightstar turned 3, her father started to try to find a new mother for her, but was not able to find one. While he was looking around for a new possible mother for her, Nightstar had gotten free from the restraints that she was in. He saved her fast enough, but not fast enough for him to move out of the way. He soon realized after that accident that he was getting older and more fragile, so he knew that he would need to take on an apprentice for his special skills that he had as a famous blacksmith. He looked at his daughter as she played that day, and only smiled, seeing her playing with her toy hammer and banging it against the anvil that he used to create weapons. As he went through the process of finding an apprentice, he had lost millions of dollars worth of metal and time. After the last apprentice left, he sat down and sighed.
Nightstar, now a 6 year old and seeing that her father was in dismay, started to make something out of the materials that she had that were very soft(mud that, through the right amounts of means, can turn hard). By the time that she was finally done, she came back to see that her father had fallen asleep. She set a note next to the sword that she made out of her material, and went to bed. Once her father woke up the next day, he ended up hitting the item she made on accident. He turned his attention to it, and chuckled before reading the note that she had left. It said to him in a slightly bad version of 6 yr old writing, 'Father, I saw that you were very very sad because no one could give you a good weapon, so I made you one. I hope it makes you feel better.' He had felt so touched that she had done all of that for him, and wondered of if she would be the real apprentice. Once she woke up that day, she found that her father was putting her sword that she made up, and put his best work next to it. After asking, she found out that he was going to teach her, him having no other child that could do any good, and wanting to see if she could do it. If she would not be able to learn it, then he would give up in finding an apprentice, and his blacksmithing skills would disappear with time. What he found when he started to teach her astounded even him. He had seen that she was taking to it as if it was natural like he had taken to it when he was a lad himself. He knew then that she would grow up to make weapons that were unlike any other.
At age 13 Nightstar finally was able to create the perfect weapon, but right after she showed her father, she said that she had to leave for a little while. He followed her, not sure of where she was going, nor of how she had known her way around because rarely would he let her out of his sight. He followed her to a simple cottage, and knocked on the door. Once the person opened the door, Nightstar told the male that the weapon that she held in her hand was his sword. Her father protested immediately, and tried to grab the sword, but suddenly was burned from touching it. She dropped the sword and ran to her father, seeing if he was alright. He nodded his head, but went to look at the sword. The male that was holding it was able to hold it with ease, and no burning at all took place. He wondered of how that was possible, but all she had told him was this, 'After I made the sword, it told me who to go to...it is his sword, daddy.' She smiled innocently, and the male heard what she had said as well. He was one of the people that would lead to her first demise. After returning home, Nightstar began work on another weapon, the first one being a great success, and she knew that she would have to prove that she could make a weapon that would be for her father. Once she completed the second sword 3 months later, she didn't talk to the sword at all, and quickly handed it to her father. She seen him grab it for a moment, but then yelled in frustration as the sword burned him, as well.
She cried out in pain and sadness for not being able to make her own father a sword, and wanted to stop being an apprentice. He shook his head, then leaned down towards her before saying to her, 'My daughter, you have a great gift to create a sword that truly is for one person only. It is a gift that is sent from God, so don't let the gift be spoiled or used for selfish reasons. I know that you will make fine swords, and when you are able to, you will surpass your old man. You're getting close enough to it already.' She started to feel better, and embraced her father tightly. It was not to last, for suddenly there was banging on the door. The father wondered of who it could be at this hour, and was surprised when he was face to face with the man that Nightstar had given the sword to, his sword held in an iron grip. She walked near her father, and gasped a little from seeing the man that she had visited to give a sword to, listening in horror as she heard the male say that she was a demon, and that she should be taken from this world. She talked with the spirit of the weapon that she had newly made, and asked for it to allow her father to fight with the blade for this once. The sword agreed, and when she put it near her father, not seeing the sword, he grabbed it, the sword not burning him at all. Nightstar smiled brightly, and looked at the man, seeing that he was swinging towards her.
The spirit of the sword did not like trying to kill its' creator, and wanted to defy his movements, Nightstar hearing the cries from the sword itself. Her father moved the sword fast to dodge his strikes, and for a long time, was able to until there was a sudden gasp from her. She slightly panted, her eyes wide from shock as she looked at them both. The sword that she had considered her greatest work was now plunged within her upper stomach, right underneath the ribcage. She backed up a little, seeing her father's paled expression as she slowly started to fall over. Everything seemed in slow motion, and once she landed on the floor on her back, she looked at her father, seeing the tears going down his face, but rage in his eyes. She could only whimper as she saw him go after the male in a rage, using the second sword that she had ever made to run through her killer. Once he had killed the guy, Nightstar's father ran to her side, pulling the sword out of her regardless of the pain and burns that he had gotten in doing so, and tried to bandage her wounds to stop the bleeding. Nightstar heard voices, and didn't know who they were other than her father's voice talking to her. She closed her eyes, mumbling that she was tired, but once she closed her eyes, it was for the last time.
She had died on that night, and was taken to the skies above to be an angel. She spent a long time as an angel, and was able to be at peace. After a long time there, she had made a mistake...one that ended up causing her to fall from grace. She had openly revealed herself to the person that she had guarded, having wanting her to know that she was not crazy. Her revealing herself to the woman was what caused her death, so it was looked upon that Nightstar had killed her. She landed on the earth as a fallen angel, and hid herself from all life, afraid of what would happen to her. Her body grew naturally once more, and aged to become an adult. She used everything that she could find to create an outfit that would fit her, but was found by Zillah when she was trying to take a dress from a nearby disposal. Nightstar had looked at the woman, expecting her to laugh at her, but she ended up taking her in, giving her food, shelter, and clothing in which to wear. After discussing her life with Zillah and hearing about her own, Nightstar decided to stay near her, finding that the woman was treating her so good. One night, she awoke with a sudden scream, and seen Zillah race in. Once she had made sure that Nightstar was alright, she held her in her arms to calm her. It was that night that it slipped from Nightstar's lips, calling her mother for a moment. She gasped soon afterwards, and looked away. She was comforted once more, brought into an embrace before hearing that it was alright. She traveled along with Zillah for a great amount of time, continuing her blacksmithing every chance she got, her first weapon that she created becoming one that was meant for a male that seemed to have nothing. She was afraid of if the guy would try to kill her, and only told him that it was his and no one else's. He thanked her, and after a few weapons being made, had made one that was meant to be for Zillah. She was very curious of the design, because they were whips, but made of metal, and looking like a chain mail. Once she handed the whips to Zillah, she learned of why the whips were made in such a way.
Word had gotten out that Nightstar was a grand swordsmith, and everyone had wanted her to make one. She had no idea in how to create for just anyone, and told the truth, saying that she doesn't create a sword and give it to some random person, but that the sword chose the master. Hearing of her explanation caused people to riot, but before they could come close enough, Zillah walked in front of Nightstar, and extended dragon wings in front of her, the wings heavily bloodied from that being the first true time that Zillah had opened her new gifted wings. People called her a demon, but didn't stay for long, because Zillah moved the whip around once, and down, watching as a fireball came out of the whip. The people that had come had left, and Nightstar and Zillah left the place, continuing on their travels, and helping as many people as they could. One night, Nightstar was called, waking her up quickly, and looking around to see who called for her. Getting up and walking, she went towards the slight voice, and found that it was an archangel, coming to bring her back into the skies. She wanted to stay, but she heard that if she refused, that she would forever be a fallen angel, and would go to hell. She feared that place, for she was still innocent with the heart of a child, so she accepted, writing in a parchment to tell Zillah all that she wanted to say before saying goodbye. Going into the skies, she became an archangel, being a blacksmith for the warrior angels. She learned quickly on how to make weapons for anyone during the time that she had been there, but also continued to make weapons for that specific person. Once, while others were out, she had created a new weapon, but it was for a warrior angel that had gone down to earth to battle a fierce vampire that was disrupting the entire balance of the world. She knew that this weapon would help him, and so, leaving her area, she made her way to earth, and appeared near the warrior angel. She got his attention quickly enough, and she gave him the sword. She was told to get out of here, and she nodded, seeing that he was busy.
Nightstar moved out of the area, and moved into a dark part of the woods that no one went to. She was just about to go back when she was attacked from behind, and bitten by a vampire. She screamed out, but by the time that the warrior angel had gotten to her, she was being force fed the vampire's blood, her eyes glazed over and red from the tears that she had shed. The warrior angel killed the vampire, but could do nothing for Nightstar. He left and found another archangel, telling of the predicament. The archangel came to her, and picked her up, taking her to a safe place, hiding her six wings from sight since she seemed broken and unable to function. Nightstar was left outside of a good natured place, and the archangel disappeared. Nightstar hated herself, but would not break any of the commandments that she knew would be taboo. Once she learned of her new forced life on her, she decided to say good bye to the people that took her in, finding herself to be a threat. She was given enough money to last a lifetime, and only used it to get materials to create more weapons. The last one that she made was given to Zillah, though not by her hands, ashamed of who she had become. She roamed the world, using her wings when necessary in order to get the weapon to someone and get back. She wanted to finally rest herself, and so, came upon the Vampire Kingdom, seeing that it was a place that had others of her now cursed kind, as well as those that were of the holier light.
